GRSE Appoints Laishram Meenabanta Singh as Independent Director

New Delhi: Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE) has announced the appointment of Laishram Meenabanta Singh as a Part-time Non-Official Director (Independent Director) on its Board.

Singh assumed charge on 2 November 2026. His tenure will be three years or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The appointment follows a Ministry of Defence letter dated 5 October 2026.

Singh holds a Master's degree in Linguistics and specialises in management, marketing and administration.

GRSE's disclosure to the stock exchanges states that Singh has no inter-se relationship with any other member of the company's Board and does not hold any equity shares in GRSE. The company notified the BSE and NSE of the appointment on 2 November 2026.
