New Delhi: Petronet LNG Limited (PLL) has received multiple recognitions in the Extel Survey 2026 for Asia (Ex-Japan/ANZ), becoming the only Indian oil and gas company to secure top honours across several categories, according to the company.
The recognitions span the Core Asia, Core Asia (Ex-Mainland China) and Small & Midcap rankings, as well as the India rankings across all sectors.

Best CEO: Akshay Kumar Singh, Managing Director and CEO
Best CFO: Saurav Mitra, Director (Finance) and CFO
Best IR Professional: Debabrata Satpathy, CGM and Vice President, Finance & Accounts
The awards were presented at the 2026 Extel Asia Equities Awards Ceremony in Hong Kong on 5 November 2026. Mitra and Satpathy received the ‘Most Honoured Company’ trophy on behalf of Petronet LNG.
The recognitions were first announced in May 2026 and reflect the company's performance in the survey's corporate leadership and investor relations categories.
Petronet LNG acknowledged the support of its investors, Board, leadership team, employees and other stakeholders. The company also reiterated its focus on transparent investor engagement, corporate governance and long-term value creation.
