GAIL, RCF Sign MoU for Gas-Based Fertilizer Project in Maharashtra

New Delhi: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between GAIL (India) Limited and Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited (RCF) for the development of a gas-based fertilizer project in Maharashtra.

In the official Press Release, GAIL mentioned that this collaboration aims to leverage RCF's fertilizer manufacturing infrastructure and its natural gas expertise to establish a new gas-based fertilizer facility in the state.

This project, through the collaboration, aims to strengthen India's domestic fertilizer production and support the government's vision of reducing import dependence in the fertilizer sector.
