New Delhi: Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), the corporate wing of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, resumed production of TMT rebars in mid-October, boosting sales of its branded steel products.
The rebars are sold under the brand name "Vizag TMT" and are used in construction and infrastructure projects. The resumption of operations is expected to solidify supplies across various sizes and cater to the needs of dealers and customers.
According to RINL, the renewed production of the Vizag TMT rebars has received a positive response from the market, with customers and dealers awaiting the availability of the product.
The restart of production marks the return of one of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant’s key products to the market, supporting the requirements of the construction sector.
