New Delhi: RailTel Corporation of India Limited has secured an order worth around Rs 20 crore from Munitions India Limited for IT infrastructure-related work.
The order adds to RailTel’s portfolio of projects for government and public sector organisations. The company, under the Ministry of Railways, provides telecommunications, networking, data centre and IT services to government departments and enterprises, alongside its railway communication network.

Munitions India Limited is a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Defence. It manufactures ammunition and explosives to meet the requirements of the country’s armed forces.
Focus on Digital Infrastructure
The order adds to RailTel’s work beyond railway telecommunications, giving the company another project in the government IT services segment. Such infrastructure supports the technology requirements of public sector and defence organisations.
