New Delhi: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has invited applications for the post of Director (Research & Development) at Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Schedule 'A' Navratna CPSE under the Defence Ministry.
The post will be vacated on 01 April 2027, and it offers a pay scale of Rs 1,80,000-3,40,000 (IDA).
Qualification
The applicant's minimum age as on the date of vacancy should be 45 years. Residual service requirements apply (2 years for internal candidates and 3 years for others), with respect to the date of superannuation (60 years).
Engineering graduates, preferably in Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Computer Science/ AI-ML are welcome. Postgraduate qualifications in related fields are also desirable.
Senior-level technical/operational experience in an organization of repute, with at least five years in the last ten years leading significant R&D projects in AI/ML, Communication, Telecommunication, Micro-Electronics or Embedded Systems in the Defence sector.
Candidates must be employed in a regular capacity in a CPSE, Central Government (including Armed Forces and All India Services), eligible State PSE, or Private Sector/JV (with prescribed turnover criteria). (Central Government officers will also be considered only on an immediate absorption basis).
