
New Delhi: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has not recommended any candidate for the post of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) at Braithwaite & Co. Limited, a Schedule ‘B’ public sector enterprise.
The interviews for the post were held at 08:45 AM on 8 October 2026 with nine candidates appearing before the Board.
The candidates interviewed included Sanjeev Rastogi, Director (Production), Braithwaite & Co. Limited; Prem Prakash Srivastava, Senior General Manager (HR/A), UP(West) Circle, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited; Amber Kumar, General Manager, Consultancy Wing, NTPC Limited; and Yogesh Vijay, Chief General Manager (Planning & Coordination), Pipeline Head Office, Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
Other candidates interviewed were Renu Sarin, Additional General Manager (Business Development), NTPC Limited; Vinod Kumar Sahebrao Bhoyar, Additional General Manager RE Hydrogen Energy and Head of 4 GW RE Project, NTPC Limited; Amrendra Kumar Singh, Chief General Manager, Durgapur, MECON Limited; Sheel Bhadra, Chief Mechanical Engineer (Construction), Railways; and Naveen Kumar Singh, SAG-Senior Administrative Grade Principal Chief Materials Manager/NFR Con, Indian Railway Stores Service.
Selection Panel Recommends Alternative Route
The Board did not recommend any candidate for the post. Advised the Administrative Ministry/Department to choose an appropriate course of further action for the selection.
The PESB suggested that the selection process may proceed through a Search-cum-Selection Committee (SCSC) or any other appropriate mechanism, with the approval of the competent authority.
Future Course Left to Administrative Ministry
The decision leaves the CMD post at Braithwaite & Co. Limited open for a course of selection by the Administrative Ministry/Department.
