New Delhi: NMDC Limited has appointed two directors to its board, according to a letter submitted to Stocks Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
As per the disclosure, the directors appointed to the PSE are Sarita Chauhan, Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Steel, and Vinod Kumar Tripathi, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Steel.
Among them, Chauhan will replace Ashish Chatterjee, and Tripathi will replace the former joint secretary in the Ministry of Steel, Abhijit Narendra.

Sarita Chauhan: Sarita Chauhan is an IAS officer of the 1999 batch (AGMUT Cadre). She is currently serving in the Ministry of Steel.
Vinod Kumar Tripathi: Vinod Kumar Tripathi belongs to the 1995 batch of the Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE). He has experience in various fields within the Ministry of Railways, including as an Executive Director in the Railway Land Development Authority.
Both of their tenure as the Government Director at NMDC will remain effective until further orders or as specified in the government order.
