
New Delhi: IRCON International Limited has won a five year contract from Konkan Railway Corporation to maintain communication and safety equipment on the Katra Banihal railway section in Jammu and Kashmir. The deal is valued at Rs 96.25 crore, including GST.
The work covers surveillance cameras, public address and emergency communication systems, as well as the supporting network infrastructure at tunnels, bridges and stations along the route.
IRCON said the contract was awarded domestically on an arm’s-length basis. It added that the order is not a related-party transaction.
