Ranchi: Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) Chairman and Managing Director Manoj Kumar Agarwal attended a meeting convened by Dr Asha Lakra, Member of the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST), in Ranchi, Jharkhand, in October 2026.
The discussions centred on the welfare, rights and grievances of Scheduled Tribe (ST) employees and BCCL’s ongoing initiatives to support ST communities across its operational areas.
During the meeting, Dr Lakra appreciated BCCL’s efforts towards the welfare and upliftment of Scheduled Tribe communities. The discussions also highlighted the need for continued coordination and collaboration to promote inclusive development.
Agarwal was accompanied by Kumar Manoj, General Manager (HR), and Roshni Kumar, Senior Manager (HR) and Nodal Officer (SC/ST).
