
New Delhi: The Centre has approved the appointment of Anjay Tiwari, an Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer of the 2013 batch, as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), Dhanbad.
According to the memorandum released on 09 October 2026, Tiwari will take charge under the Ministry of Coal for an initial period of three years from 01 January 2027, when he assumes charge.
He will be placed at Pay Level 13 of the pay matrix, with a salary ranging from Rs 1,23,100 to Rs 2,15,900.
The Chief Vigilance Officer is responsible for overseeing vigilance-related matters within an organisation, helping strengthen transparency, accountability, and compliance with established procedures.
